I am starting a pair of fingerless mitts/wristwarmers. They're not "gloves" b/c there is only a thumbhole; the finger area is knit open w/o separate openings for each finger. I have a neat varigated orangey-pink wool blend to use.
I'm also knitting a hat for G's birthday on Monday -if I can get his head circumference. The yarn is a wool blend in a dark -almost black- navy w/ some specks of red throughout.
I'll need to take an extra project w/ me on vacation. Of course, I should probably finish the scarf that I had started lsat year sometime (maybe even longer ago!) Thank God knitting needles are allowed back on planes! I hate to fly anyway, but to have to sit for hours on end w/ nothing to do with my hands? Intolerable cruelty!
