How much do we miss Spain?

Let me just say, por ejemplo: Mad got a watch as a continuation present -nothing fancy, just a fashion watch from Target. She set the time in Spain but hasn't worn it since we've been home. She came across said watch the other night and sighed. She said, "Oh look,it's 8am in Spain. I miss Spain so much, I'm going to leave the time set like this forever." I've heard similar sentiments from Fi & Lib. Fi talks about, "Don't you miss Spain? I do. I wish we could live there forever." Lib still asks to watch "Bob Esponja" on t.v. and only says "gracias" for thanks. I saw a book on Spain at the libray last week & showed Fi a picture of La Puerta de Alcalá. Her response? Her eyes lit up & she said, "Oh we saw that when we lived in Spain!" Suffice it to say, this was a successful, memorable vacation.

awesome Haribo store in La Opera district in Madrid

the whole top of this circular Monument to Alfonso XII, in Parque del Retiro was covered in these bas relief children doing different tasks...a very socialist feel

cool ironwork dragon above door on Calle de Alfonso XII

Brown & yellow patchwork landscape flying into Spain. So different from the US green & brown patchwork. I was curious as to what else would be different. One word: Everything
