I think this may be the best batch of stollen I've made. Not bad for midnight baking AND for shorting the liquid but realizing it after I've kneaded and then adding some water to compensate. Whew. I thought I might have killed the yeast & would have to make a new batch. Not a pleasant thought at 1am. But lo & behold! It tastes as good as it looks!
